Rant

My schedule is annoying and hinders my training. I work the midnight shift and wake up around 5 everyday. My days off are tues wed and thurs morning. Gym closes at6 pm on sat and sunday. WHAT DO ABOUT ROUTINE?? im trying to get a new job where im not working midnights so i can go back to the layne norton power hypertrophy routine. just sucks right now. guess ill do a basic 3 day split, chest/tris, back/bis and legs/shoulders. I really wanna hit my muscles twice a week for more effectiveness! aghhhhh damnit

USP Labs Modern BCAA Review

Just mixed my first White Blue Raspberry Modern BCAA shake. wow. i was afraid it would be a problem. ive heard a few people say it doesn't mix well and its not clear blah blah blah. i used about 20-22 ounces of water shook it for 15-30 seconds. I wouldn't say its crystal clear, but its cloudy yet clear looking. Let it sit for a few minutes and it hasn't settled on the bottom yet

Also just a bit of foam on the top, after 10 minutes still no settling. It mixed really well, and its not like putting creatine in water where it just instantly settles into the bottom of the glass.next time I'll try warm water to see if that little bit of foam leaves, I used cold water from the refrigerator.

By the time I got to the gym, the foam had went away, i looked inside the shaker bottle and clearness! it was crystal clear. I'm guessing i couldn't see it clearly before because the bottle itself wasn't crystal clear. Taste was really good, no problem getting it down, and lasted my entire workout sipping in between sets.Good job USP Labs. You may have made my staple supplements list.

Best routine ever for Nattys

Layne Norton came up with this routine and I'm in love with it.

Monday: Upper Power -5x5 or 3x5 for all lifts
  • Barbell Bench Press
  • Barbell Rows
  • Military Press
  • Pull-ups
  • Barbell Curl
  • Skull crushers or heavy dips
  • Barbell Shrugs
Tues: Lower Power -5x5 or 3x5 for all lifts(5x5 on bulk cause recovery is better, 3x5 on cut)
  • Back Squat
  • Stiff Leg Deadlift, Or Romanian DL
  • heavy hip thrust
  • 6-8 sets of Standing Calf, little higher reps, I like to do 6-8 on heavy days
Wednesday: Off
Thursday: Hypertrophy Chest/Arms (For hypertrophy days I never go to failure, always stop about 2 reps before failure)
  • DB Incline Bech 3x8-12
  • Barbell Close Grip Bench 3x8-12
  • DB Flat Bench 2x8-12
  • Preacher Curls 3x8-12 super setted with
  • Standing French Press 3x8-12
  • Push Downs 3x8-12 super setted with
  • DB Hammer Curls 3x8-12
  • Machine Curl 3x8-12 supersetted with
  • Machine Dips 3x8-12
  • Cable Crossovers 3x8-12

Right now i try and use this routine when i can but when i cant i use a simple full body routine twice a week
